 The Annual Burns Supper, held on Friday 27th January 2012 raised a fantastic amount of around £900 towards the new clubhouse fund.

Thanks go to all the helpers and speakers that made this event possible. A good night was had by all.

Italian Night

Come along and support the club and help raise funds for our new clubhouse.

Authentic Italian Cuisine (said with tongue in cheek) at the bargain price of only

£13 per head.

 STARTERS

  An Antipasti of Mixed Pepper Melts

(Oven baked peppers overflowing with a stuffing of cous cous, garlic, mozzarella, basil, chilli, bacon and cherry tomatoes)

Italian Sausage Soup

(A satisfying soup of Italian sausage, courgette, beans, spinach and garlic) 

 Italian Meats Antipasti 

(a selection of Italian cured meats served with olives and a salad garnish) 

                                         MAIN COURSES

Cannelloni Bolognaise

(tubes of cannelloni pasta filled with Bolognaise sauce and topped with lashings of bechamel sauce and cheese) 

Chicken Cacciatore 

(chicken breast cooked in the classic combination of wine, olives and tomatoes, served with pasta) 

   DESSERTS

                              Lemon Panacotta

(served with a Limoncello topping and a homemade amaretti biscuit)

                                    Tiramisu

Fantastic news for the cadet section. Thanks to work by Marianne McNeilage and Fiona Kilgore the club have received a grant of £2000 towards the purchase of a Feva dinghy.

Helensburgh sailing Club have four such dinghies so it is hoped that some competition with other clubs will be encouraged.

The price of a Feva is approximately £4000 so we need to raise the additional funds. if anyone has any ideas on how to raise such funds or would care to make a donation towards this cause please contact anyone on the committee.
